Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive in Arusha, where you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your accommodation. After check-in, attend a briefing on the safari itinerary and prepare your photography gear. Spend the evening relaxing and acclimating to the local environment.
Day 2: Arusha National Park
Start your adventure with a game drive in Arusha National Park. This park is known for its varied landscapes, including lush forests, open savannahs, and volcanic craters. Photograph diverse wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and flamingos at the Momela Lakes. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Depart early for Serengeti National Park, famous for its vast savannahs and the Great Migration. Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive. Capture images of the abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, and cheetahs. Enjoy a sunset over the plains before retiring to your tented camp or lodge.
Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti
Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti. Follow the migration routes of wildebeest and zebras, and look out for predators such as lions and leopards. Take advantage of the golden hour for photography and witness the dynamic ecosystem of the Serengeti. Return to your camp for a night under the stars.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Travel to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the crater, which hosts an incredible density of wildlife. Photograph black rhinos, hippos, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Enjoy a picnic lunch by a hippo pool and continue your game drive in this unique setting. Overnight stay on the crater rim.
Day 6: Tarangire National Park
Head to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant populations and ancient baobab trees. Spend the day exploring the park’s diverse habitats. Capture images of elephants, lions, and a variety of bird species. The Tarangire River provides excellent opportunities for wildlife photography. Stay overnight in a lodge within the park.
Day 7: Return to Arusha
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Tarangire before returning to Arusha. Reflect on your incredible journey and the memories you've made. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will have time to shop for souvenirs or relax before your onward travel arrangements. Transfer to the airport for your departure or extend your stay in Tanzania.
