We’ll pick you up from your hotel accommodation in Arusha and bring you to Arusha Airstrip for your flight to the Ndutu Area. Upon arrival, you’ll have a meet and greet with your tour guide/driver and then proceed to a game drive. The Lake Ndutu area, situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, is part of the southern Serengeti eco-system. Lake Ndutu is alkaline, like most other Rift lakes, but the water is still drinkable and used by a wide array of local wildlife. The majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found on the short-grass plains from December to April. The area is usually heavily populated with elephant, birds, and resident game.
Start your day with a game drive in Ndutu Area after breakfast and then return to the camp for lunch. Resume your game drive at Seronera, tracking the Great Migration trails. A thorough explanation of this remarkable world event, which Tanzania is proud of, will be provided. In the evening, as the sun sets, experience Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, the Serengeti, a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th worldwide wonder, renowned for its annual migration.
Inclusion:
Experience a hot air balloon safari early in the morning, then proceed back to the camp for breakfast. Afterward, we’ll depart for Seronera with a game drive en route. The park is well known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the “big five” — Lion, African Leopard, and others. The Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa, with more than 3,000 lions living in this ecosystem. African Leopards, reclusive predators, are commonly seen around.
Inclusion:
After breakfast, continue your game drive in the Seronera area. In the afternoon, proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Experience the frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating, and survival through crocodile-infested waters on the annual exodus north. This replenishes the species in a brief population explosion, producing more than 8,000 calves daily before the pilgrimage begins again.
