Day 1: Arrival in Arusha. Transfer to your hotel for rest and a pre-trek briefing. Overnight in Arusha.
Day 2: Drive to Momella Gate and begin your trek to Miriakamba Hut (2,514 meters), passing through lush rainforest and encountering wildlife such as giraffes and buffaloes. Overnight at Miriakamba Hut.
Day 3: Continue the ascent to Saddle Hut (3,570 meters), with an optional acclimatization hike to Little Meru (3,820 meters) for panoramic views. Overnight at Saddle Hut.
Day 4: Early morning summit attempt to Socialist Peak (4,566 meters) for sunrise views over Kilimanjaro and the surrounding landscapes. Descend back to Miriakamba Hut and then to Momella Gate. Transfer back to Arusha for rest. Overnight in Arusha.
Day 5: Transfer to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. Overnight at a lodge or camp in Tarangire.
Day 6: Morning game drive in Tarangire, then transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to a dense population of wildlife, including the Big Five. Overnight at a lodge or camp near the crater rim.
