Tanzania Adventures
Activities: Arrival at Arusha National Park, registration, and trek to Miriakamba Hut
Trekking Distance: Approximately 10 kilometers (6.2 miles),
Elevation Gain: Approximately 1,014 meters (3,327 feet),
Accommodation: Miriakamba Hut (2,514 meters / 8,250 feet).
Upon arrival at Arusha National Park, trekkers complete registration formalities and receive a briefing from their guide. The trek begins at the Momella Gate, ascending through lush montane forests teeming with wildlife such as colobus monkeys and buffalo. The day's trek ends at Miriakamba Hut, where trekkers rest and acclimatize for the ascent ahead.
Trekking Distance: Approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles)
Elevation Gain: Approximately 1,056 meters (3,464 feet),
Activities: Trekking through montane forest and heather moorland, acclimatization hike to Little Meru,
Accommodation: Saddle Hut (3,570 meters / 11,713 feet).
The second day starts with a trek from Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut, passing through the enchanting montane forest and heather moorland zones. Trekkers enjoy panoramic views of Mount Meru and the surrounding landscape. Upon reaching Saddle Hut, an acclimatization hike to Little Meru (3,820 meters / 12,533 feet) is undertaken to help prepare for the summit push. Trekkers return to Saddle Hut for dinner and an early night.

Activities: Early morning summit attempt, descent to Momella Gate, transfer to Arusha,
The final day begins before dawn with a challenging ascent to Socialist Peak (4,566 meters / 14,980 feet). Trekkers navigate steep trails and rocky terrain in the dark, reaching the summit at sunrise for stunning views of Kilimanjaro and the surrounding landscape. After celebrating their achievement, they descend back to Saddle Hut for a brief rest and then continue to Momella Gate. From there, trekkers are transferred back to Arusha for departure or continued travel plans.
