Morning: Arrival: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) early in the morning. Transfer to Arusha if needed for a brief stop. (Option: We can start a safari from Arusha to your hotel.) Drive to Tarangire: Head to Tarangire National Park. The drive from Arusha to Tarangire takes about 2-3 hours.
Afternoon: Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot in the park or at your lodge. Game Drive: After lunch, start a game drive in Tarangire National Park. Known for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers fantastic wildlife viewing opportunities. Look out for lions, leopards, and diverse bird species.
Evening: Check-in: Arrive at your lodge or camp for the night. Options include Tarangire Safari Lodge, Tarangire River Camp, or Maramboi Tented Camp.
Dinner: Enjoy dinner at the lodge or camp.
Early Morning: Departure: Depart early from Tarangire and drive to Ngorongoro Crater. The journey takes around 3-4 hours.
Crater Tour: Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. The crater is home to a high density of wildlife, including black rhinos, buffalo, and numerous bird species.
